French classes / Cross-cultural coaching

About me

I graduated from La Sorbonne University. I have a master’s degree both in the teaching of french as a foreign language and in english studies.

I am a French national. I am totally bilingual in English and can understand Spanish very well.

I teach french in prestigious parisian universities and schools of higher education such as Jussieu, La Sorbonne and the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan.

I teach expatriates, au-pair girls and students.

They are all from very different countries and have very different levels in French.

In each of my missions, my priority is to adapt to the actual needs and specific objectives  of my students.

Both in teaching and in coaching, listening and  adapting to my students are my priorities.

Moreover, I am very much involved in the world of French as a Foreign Language here in Paris as I design items for the « Test  d’Evaluation de Français » (TEF) of the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de Paris. I also coordinate the French as a foreign language section in the Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne University.

I started thinking about cross-cultural issues when I was a foreign-language assistant in secondary school education in England in 2000.

Then of course, since I started teaching, I have had to answer the various questions my students were asking me concerning our culture, habits, ways of thinking and behaving.

All this has led me to design a method of cross-cultural coaching which I invite you to discover here
